While rolling down the hill, Ami and Yumi crash into the cabin and break all the bones in their body. I not only laughed but learned Japanese. Ninjacompoop: After a career test Yumi orders a kit to train her to be a ninja. . Most of the jokes are very good, but there are some that are not.
I guess it can be summarized as pure mindless clichéd fun. I don't think it even deserves that. Kaz thinks that after being together for so long, Yumi has become allergic to Ami. Art wise, very nice style. Can Ami and Yumi save Kaz from his doom? After hanging out with Ami and Yumi Chad starts to not like them.
People whine that it doesn't look realistic, but here's the thing- it's a cartoon. Kaz admits that back when he was a kid, he always wanted to become a magician, and this is the thing that will make his dream come true. I never saw Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi back in the day. Unfortunately, during the contest, Ami is tripped by a competitor and stubs her toe. Surprisingly, the new manager treats them much better. One of the girls is a heavy rocker while the other one is a nice person.
But when a competitor stubs Ami's toe, it's up to Yumi to use her rock star knowledge to win. Being famous rock stars, Ami and Yumi tour the globe in their customized Puffy bus, a veritable condo on wheels with all the major amenities and an ever-changing interior. The name is a reference to Seasick. But the cats quickly outsmart Kaz and lock him outside. Can Ami and Kaz get the old Yumi back? Rocking is prohibited, however, so the trio tries to find other enjoyable things to do. This is because no one in America could not afford to get cable.
The girls hit the streets fighting evil and they soon face a tough foe. This episode came on Comcast's Cartoon Network On Demand on May 2005. Some cultural references that never really worked and the songs weren't really my cup of tea. When the champion and Yumi get ready, Yumi starts out slow and the champion is winning but Kaz says mentions the baseball game they went to and Ami starts playing baseball. When they return, they undergo bizarre nightmares. Here are the reasons: Everybody was bashing the cartoon and were wondering why can't the girls themselves do their own voices. The character design is also pretty decently done.

It could have been an interesting look at these Japanese rock stars to have some fun adventures, but instead it managed to become badly written, clichéd and nothing interesting at all.
I kinda loved this show when I was a kid. Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi is a funny cartoon about two rock stars and their manager traveling the world, playing a concerts and going on wacky adventures. It's the cleanest cartoon-cartoon on right now mature humor is hardly ever mentioned. After I watched the show, I researched and listened to samples of other Puffy songs. Premise: Basiclly just a bunch of misadventures of the band's three member trio: the title characters Ami and Yumi which from what I read in interviews, are based off the real life duo's more shining characteristics and their tightwad money hungry manger, Caz, as they travel the road on their concert tour. Record Breakers: Ami and Yumi compete with each other to complete a world record.
Ami and Yumi decide to get revenge. Will they be able to stop getting jinxed before their bad luck lasts longer than anyone's ever lived? They hear the door-bell and, when they open the door, Harmony and two other villagers run into the castle and start to destroy it. Can Yumi and Kaz stop Ami before she causes real damage? Ami is very happy, cheerful, nice but is also slightly less smarter than average. Ami finds out she didn't and Yumi said there were monkeys and little kids in the class. But one thing that bugs me is that this show that supposed to show music does not show any respect to other kinds of genres. That freaked me out because if you attempt to do that, you will feel extreme pain and misery that it will scar you for life! Now, just look at the other characters, like Blair, King Chad, Professor Marvelous, Teen-Team, and Harmony. This is not an anime, this is anime-based.
