Apparently, after changing the cap and rotor a few times, the wire for the cam sensor got pinched when I tightened the cap down and eventually wore through and broke the wire. I re-skived the wires, twisted together and re crimped the connector eyelet and a year long intermittent problem solved! I would pull te seat out of the way to make it easier. The ohmmeter should not show continuity between relay terminals 87A and 30. No problems for a couple of days and then all of the sudden it did it again. To reinstall it have your steering column back in place and pull the cable unti it is on the neutral area with the tranny in neutral and everything will line back up on gear selector. I believe it stands for an automatic shutdown relay.
